The Future of Botanical Protection

The Future of Botanical Protection

Designing for Coexistence

The traditional approach to pest control has been centered on eradication—utilizing chemical sprays to eliminate insects across entire residential zones. However, this method introduces hazardous chemical runoff into local soil and water tables, disrupting beneficial pollinator populations and regional ecosystems.

The future of protection lies in spatial shielding. By designing botanical barriers that redirect pests rather than destroy them, we can establish clean human sanctuaries while maintaining ecological balance.

The Spatial Signal

Through our work with LizOff and TermiOff, we are proving that botanical signals can guide pest behavior away from our homes and structures naturally. This shift from chemical eradication to spatial redirection represents a more conscious, sustainable relationship with the natural world.
